Interesting thing

The most interesting thing is the big hailstorm. When the volcanoes erupted and created a hailstorm. I think its cool because they all get trapped in the greenway shop. Then they have to find ways to survive. It was also the most devastating out of everything. Then the black smoke came and that was pretty cool It was weird how it made people go crazy because of their blood type. Which can make you get big blister things that can kill you. Or you can go insane. Or just be perfectly fine. Then it got really creepy when that crazy guy came to their store.

How does your setting affect your story’s mood? Mason Carr

Well in a way the setting makes the mood happy. Because the setting is inside a store. If you are inside a store you have all the supplies you need. Like water, food, and a lot more. If you were someone outside it would be a lot harder to survive. But in other hands the mood is sad because of the hail storm and the smoke. This is sad because both of these things can kill you. Which makes it terrifying for the kids because they don’t know if there parents are alive or not. I don’t think anyone would want to be in their situation.

What i thought was exiting- justice

i think that the most exicting event is when they were in the bathroom and chole had teeth in maxs head. i choose this event because i like thriller and stuff that gets under my skin and that you didn't expect it coming. I choose it because i didn't think that the chemicals could do that and it supraised me that chemicals could do thatg like make everyone crazy and then a couple hours later everyone is fine.

Most Exciting Part

I think the most exciting part in the book so far is when the kids went to go on a bathroom and when they went to wash their hands and something went wrong. The thing that went wrong is that the chemical they got blocked out got into the water system and they got the chemical on them and they started to go crazy. I thought this was the most exciting part so far because all the kids went nuts, but it also was because how they handled it was cool. They like all got a person and roped them down and Batiste wasn't breathing and they had to do CPR on him and I just thought that was really cool that they knew how to handle it so like fast and weren't like freaking out.

What I thought was interesting was that the night before the ceremony. Brayden, Jake, and Sahalia were a bit woozy because they were drunk. One of the boys had a flask with alcohol and poured it in their drink, which was a big cup of blue and red slushy mixed. Sahalia was only 13 and the boys were much older than her. Ever since they arrived at Green Way, Sahlia has been dressing up like shes older and trying to flirt with the “Big Boys” with makeup and acting not herself. Acting like a stuck up, thinks shes all that. I really didn’t expect them to go that far which my guess is because they were tired of being miserable and stuck inside the store so they decided to “drink their sorrows”.

Setting

The setting affects the mood by how the people act to things. Like when they found out they couldn't go home the little kids were scared and the big kids were trying to calm them down. And when the bus started to catch fire they didn't run they stayed to help people out. So the setting is dark and the mood is scared for the little kids and the big kids are sort of calm but worried. So mainly when something bad happens the kids are in a panic attack and the big kids are trying to calm them down and fix the problems that are going on so no one else gets hurt.

The mood is like a dark and scary situation. The setting with the kids inside the GreenWay grocery store or Mall, fits ok with the mood, I would say. It gives off a good sensation of you being on the edge of your seat sometimes. It is like The Walking Dead, which is good because a lot of people like that show. The little kids are always screaming until they get calmed down with cookies, games, candy, and FOOD. Obviously. With the big kids, they are much calmer than the little kids until they get hurt themselves or someone other big kid that they would have to help.
the setting affects the mood because everyone is scared and they are trying to find a way to survive. the reason i think that the setting affects the mood because people are dieing from the chemicals released by NORAD. And i also think that the reason why is because they are scared to death that they might not ever see their parents again. So the setting is dark and the mood is scared for the little kids and the big kids are sort of calm but worried. And that is why I think that the setting acffets the mood by making everyone scared out of their minds and trying everything what they can.

Describe the Main Character

The main character in my book monument 14 is a boy his name is Dean. As it says in the book Dean is slim and tall. He's shy because he doesn't want to talk to Astrid the girl he likes. A lot of things are funny when they are serious. He is a little bit good with kids and is brave. He's not very strong but is smart.
